Chillicothe led by as many as nine points twice in the game,
but struggled in the fourth quarter. Savannah finished the
second quarter on a 7-0 run and tied the game to start the
third quarter. A Bryce Young trey at the end of the third gave
the Hornets a 3 point lead heading into the fourth, but a 9-0
run by Savannah was too much for Chillicothe.
The Hornets managed to get to with in two points later
in the fourth but that was as close as they could come before
a Senior night and Jam the Gym crowd. Chillicothe was awarded
just one trip to the free throw line the entire night, while
Savannah went 9 of 17 in an unevenly refereed game. |
