- Macon Girls 59, at Chillicothe 44
It
took Chillicothe 6:15 seconds of playing time before they
picked up their first points of the season. By that time Macon
had built a 9 point lead and never looked back. Chillicothe
threatened early in the 2nd when they closed to with-in one
point, but Macon built a 17 point lead by halftime, thanks to
an 11-0 run to close out the first half.
Chillicothe played hard the entire game including going
on a 10-0 run late the 4th quarter before finally losing by 15
points. For the Lady Hornets, it was a case of their two point
shots against Macon's outside shooting. the Tigerettes went 7
of 20 from behind the arc while Chillicothe missed all six of
their shots, half of those coming from Freshman Madison
Williams in the final minute of the game.
