Day One - 2/17/2011

     Chillicothe had two wrestlers win their first matches and a third lose his first match but win his wrestleback match.
171lbs Claude Mathews lost to Ryan Fritz of Fulton by pin in 1:59 in his first match. Mathews then beat Jeffrey Fletcher of Buffalo by pin in 27 seconds in the wrestleback match. Mathews must now wait to see whom he wrestles in the next round of wrestlebacks.
189lbs Nick Plummer beat Winston Boldt of John Burroughs 10-5 in the first round. Plummer will have his toughest task to date in the quarterfinals when he puts his 25-1 record up against a Junior from Logan-Rogersville with a perfect 47-0 record.
215lbs Drew Wilkison picked up a hard fought win in his first round match, beating Adam Ryerson of Owensville 7-6 in the first round match. Wilkison, a Sophomore, will face a Bolivar wrestler with a 29-8 record in the quarterfinals.

Day Two - 2/18/2011
171lbs Claude Mathews lost to Tucker Pauley of Grain Valley 10-0 in the 2nd round of Wrestlebacks. Mathews finished the season 29-17

189lbs Nick Plummer lost to Joseph Zimmer of Logan Rogersville 11-2 in the quarterfinals. (Zimmer, a Junior, ended up undefeated State Champion with a record of 50-0). Plummer then beat Frank Kohout of Ozark by pin in 3:58 in the wrestlebacks

215lbs Drew Wilkison lost to Garrett Foote of Moberly by pin in 4:01. Wilkison, a Sophomore, finished the season 25-11

Day Three - 2/19/2011

189lbs Nick Plummer beat John Orschlen of Moberly by pin in 3:54 in the wrestlebacks. Plummer then beat Shane Cullen of Smithville by pin in 4:31 to finish 3rd in the state meet. Plummer finished his Senior season at 29-2

As a team, Chillicothe finished 25th out of 50 teams with 27 points.
