The Chillicothe Cross Country team
finished 7th out of 15 teams at the Savannah invitational. The
Hornets were with out the services of their top runner Broc Graves
who is still out with a foot injury. The Hornets were led by Andrew
Jensen with a 10th place finish, Mitchell Smith was 25th and both
medaled. Kolby Eller was 49th, Trent Putnam 50th and Casey Ratliff
was 53rd
In the Girls race Brittany Stanfield
finished 26th, Lizzie McCoy was 24th, Katlyn Garr was 45th and
Michaela Mammen was 46th.
In the Boys JV race Aaron
Skipper was 17th, Jacob McCullough 20th and Jonathan Arthaud 21st.
In the Boys 9th grade race Derek Eckert
was 3rd and earned a medal, and Austin Mosier was 12th.
Benton won the boys team title with KC St Pius X
2nd. Princeton's Blake Goodin won the boys event in 17:22 and Katie
Lofland of St Pius won the girls event in 20:41
