Chillicothe’s two competitors in the State Cross Country meet finished strong, but not as strong as they had hoped. Senior Broc Graves, in his first state meet, finished in 53rd place in a time of 18:10. Junior Andrew Jensen, in his second straight year of state competition, finished in 82nd place in a time of 18:34.
Hornets coach Tim Riekena Stated the two worked hard on what he called a very challenging course. He stated both were frustrated with their times, but the effort was there.
