   Lafayette Junior Xavier Kurth was unstoppable, scoring 28 points to lead the top seed Irish to a 73-40 district semifinal win over Chillicothe. 24 of Kurth's 27 points were from inside, usually two or three Hornet defenders guarding him.
   Chillicothe again had problems with turnovers, many of them caused by a Lafayette press while others were uncontested turnovers.
    The Hornets tied the score twice in the first quarter, but never led in the game. Lafayette led by 12 at the half and by 19 after three before blasting Chillicothe in the fourth quarter 20-8.
