Chillicothe's
Derek Hussey scored three goals and had two assists to help the
Hornets Soccer team to their third shut out victory in as many
games, winning at Cameron 10-0.
Chillicothe jumped out to an early lead, with Brice
Griffin scoring off a Jon Kline assist in the opening minute, and
just 60 seconds later, Steven Cooper scored off an Alan Kline assist
to give the Hornets a 2-0 lead in the first two minutes. The Hornets
scored again in the 9th minute when Griffin scored his second goal,
this time off a Wade Dietz assist.
The Hornets scored twice more in the first half: a
Derek Hussey goal off an assist by Cooper in the 33rd minute and on
Jon Kline off a Hussey assist in the 38th minute to take a 5-0 lead
into intermission.
The Hornets didn't let up in the second half with Alan
Kline scoring on a penalty kick in the 43rd minute, Hussy scored his
second goal in the 54th minute with Cooper getting his second
assist. Jeremiah Appleberry scored in the 67th minute off a Cal
Toedebusch assist. Brandon Murray scored in the 75th mintue off
Hussey's second assist, then Hussey ended the scored in the 78th
minute to end the game with the 10-goal mercy rule.
Troy Toedebusch had five saves on goal to earn his 3rd
straight shut out on the season.
