Chillicothe Sophomore John Kline accounted for the only goal in a 1-0 Hornet Soccer win over Kirksville. Kline's goal game in the 51st minute of the game off an assist from Steven Cooper. Chillicothe, playing in their 4th game in 6 days, had a goal by Senior Grant Peterson waved off in the 12th minute when the team was called for an on-sides penalty.
     Kirksville had a couple of shots on goal in the game, but the Hornet's star goal keeper Troy Toedebusch had two spectacular saves to preserve the Hornets 7th shut out in 9 games. The Hornets improve to 7-2 on the season, and are undefeated and un-scored upon in home matches.
