The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team battled wind, cold, light rain, and a persistent Savannah team to win 2-1. Chillicothe's Derek Hussey scored in the 14th minute off an assist from Steven Cooper. The 1-0 lead would hold up the rest of the first half. In the second half. Chillicothe's Brice Griffin scored in the 42nd minute off an assist from Derek Hussey to lead 2-0.
     Savannah scored in the 74th minute, and had several chances on goal in the final five minutes to tie the game, but where kept from scoring again thanks to a great defensive effort by Goalkeeper Troy Toedebush (4 saves in the game) and the rest of the Hornet defenders.
