A second chance shot by St Joseph LeBlond early in the game was all it took for the St Joseph LeBlond Golden Eagles to defeat the Chillicothe Hornets 1-0 for the district Soccer championship. LeBlond found the Chillicothe net in the 8th minute of the game for the only score in the contest. Chillicothe had eight shots on goal but the LeBlond Goalkeeper kept them out of the net. Chillicothe's goal keeper had three saves on goal.
     With their first ever district title, LeBlond improved to 18-3 while Chillicothe ended the season as district runner up for the second straight year and ended with an 18-4 record. Two of the losses were to LeBlond.
