Chillicothe Senior D. J. Gannan has become the latest Hornet athlete to sign a letter of intent to continue their athletic career on the collegiate level. Gannan will play running back at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Gannan stated he liked the atmosphere of the college and the athletic facilities during his visit.
     Hornets head coach Phil Willard says Gannan has a lot of skills that should make him successful in college.

     During his senior season, Gannan had 143 carries for 613 yards in 10 games at Fullback for a 4.29 yards per carry average and four touchdowns. He also had 11 catches for 114 yards.
