at LeBlond 55, Chillicothe 42
The Chillicothe Lady Hornets never seemed to get on track in a
55-42 MEC loss at LeBlond. Chillicothe scored the first two
baskets of the game, but that was their only lead of the
contest. Chillicothe battled back twice to tie the game in the
first quarter.
LeBlond led by five in the third quarter when Senior
Danielle Beers hit back to back treys from the right wing to
give her Golden Eagles team an 11 point lead. Chillicothe
could never get the game closer than 6 the rest of the game. A
nine point lead after three quickly ballooned to 16 early in
the fourth thanks to a 7-0 run to start the quarter.
