Cameron Tournament 5th Place Game
 

     Chillicothe jumped out to a big lead then held on to win the consolation game of the Cameron Tournament 43-34 over Lawson.
     The teams traded baskets to start the game, then Chillicothe went on a 17-0 run, leading by 16 after one and starting the second quarter with a free throw. Chillicothe led by as many as 19 late in the second quarter.
     Lawson refused to give up, holding Chillicothe to just a bucket from Madison Williams and a free throw from Samantha McKiddy in the third quarter. By the middle of the fourth quarter, Lawson had narrowed the gap to just 5 points. Chillicothe responded with a basket then two free throws to lead by 9. Lawson could manage just one more basket before Chillicothe hit two more free throws for the final score.
