Chillicothe 46, at Maryville 32
The Chillicothe
Lady Hornets used a balanced attack and solid teamwork to pick
up their first MEC win of the season, spoiling Maryville's
Winter Homecoming 46-32.
Chillicothe had contributions from all seven of
their main players with all seven scoring between four and
nine points while holding Maryville in check most of the
night. Maryville only scored back to back baskets three times
during the game and never led after a one point advantage
midway through the first quarter.
Maryville had their best run in the early fourth when
they closed from 14 to 8 points, but Chillicothe finished the
game with three straight baskets from Mackenzie Barnett,
Madison Williams and Erin Gilliland.
