     Chillicothe’s Lindy Saunders had two goals and an assist to help the Lady Hornets Soccer team to a 3-1 win over Savannah and capture the consolation trophy of the Excelsior Springs Tournament.
     Saunders scored in the first half to give the Lady Hornets a 1-0 lead at halftime. Savannah tied the game off a free kick early in the second half to tie the game, but Saunders responded with the go-ahead goal a few minutes later.
     Miranda Mammen beat the goal keeper off a Saunders assist midway through the second half for the 3-1 victory. According to unofficial statistics, Chillicothe had 11 shots on goal to just two by Savannah.
