      The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer team played well but lost to a very talented Maryville team 11-1. Coach Lance Harvey said despite the lopsided score, Chillicothe put together some great scoring opportunities. Brooke Thomas scored Chillicothe’s only goal, and it was just the third goal allowed by Maryville who have so far outscored their opponents 85 to 3.
     Harvey stated that Chillicothe knew they were going to be tough coming in, but the lady Hornets didn’t back down. He felt his team competed at a high level but a fast and talented Maryville team had just too many weapons.
