The Chillicothe Lady Hornets soccer team played a first half but lost at St Joseph LeBlond 8 to 4. Chillicothe took the early lead on a Sam Baldwin goal in the left corner of the net, but LeBlond tied the score two minutes later on what Coach Lance Harvey called a controversial goal where the forward appeared to be in an off side position when she received the pass and beat the Chillicothe goalkeeper with a low shot in the corner. LeBlond scored again soon after and led 2-1 at halftime.
     LeBlond scored in the 41st minute but was answered by the Hornets when Lindy Saunders collected Baldwin’s errant shot and put it in the back of the net. LeBlond scored again 3 minutes later but was again answered by Chillicothe’s Brook Thomas left footed shot over the keepers head and into the goal.
     LeBlond went on to score four more goals with Chillicothe’s Saunders scoring Chillicothe’s final goal in the 79th minute
