The Lafayette Girls Soccer Team spoiled the Lady Hornet’s Senior Night with a 6-1 Lady Irish win at Jerry Litton Stadium.
     Lafayette scored in the 8th minute and again in the 20th minute to take a 2-0 lead at halftime. The turning point was in the 2nd when Lafayette scored twice in a minute to lead 4-0 in the 52nd minute. Chillicothe responded with their only goal of the game when Natalie Minnick found the back of the net in the 57th minute. Lafayette scored twice more for the 6-1 final score.
     Several Chillicothe fans were unhappy with some of the officials calls, loudly voicing their displeasure with some of the calls.
     There was no JV game, and the five Lady Hornet Seniors were honored during halftime of the game.
