Both of Chillicothe’s girls tennis players earned medals in the MSHSAA Singles Tennis Tournament. Syndie Whiteside beat teammate Ali Stephens in the 5th place match of the two-day tournament. Both girls won their first round games, both lost their quarterfinal games and both battled back through the consolation bracket. Whiteside beat Stephens 6-1, 6-2 in the 5th place game on Saturday afternoon.
