Parents and fans wrapped up the Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball Season with the annual awards presentation, hot dog roast and hayride.. Eleven players earned letters, including seven seniors on the team. Lauren Jones won the Most Improved Award and Brooke Thomas won the Coaches Award.
     Coach Stan Baldwin also announced that three girls were honored as members of the All District team. Senior Left Fielder Brooke Thomas and Sophomore Shortstop Samantha Baldwin were both first team selections and Junior Pitcher Kelsey Boley was a second team honoree. Baldwin said the all conference team selections will be tonight (Monday), the all-region team will be selected on the 24th followed by the all-state team.
