Pony Express Tournament Consolation Game
 

     Chillicothe used two strong innings to beat St Joseph LeBlond 6-3 in the Consolation game of the Pony Express Tournament.
     After three scoreless innings, LeBlond started the scoring in the bottom of the 4th with two out when they singles, doubled then had a ground ball single that scored two.
     Chillicothe countered with three runs in the top of the 5th when Tristen Sewell walked, Ty Figg doubled, Drew Toedebusch singled to center field to score two. After a pitching change Tanner Lent hit an rbi single.
     LeBlond tied the game in the bottom of the inning with a home run with no one on.
     Chillicothe scored three more in the top of the 6th when Jaden Winder walked then two outs later scored off a Ty Figg line drive single to right field. Drew Toedebusch walked followed by a Tanner Lent double to score Figg. Westley Brandsgaard hit a ground ball and reached on an error scoring Toedebusch to make the score 6-3.
     With the numerous rain outs earlier in the season, it was agreed that this tournament game would also count as a conference game
