     Chillicothe used a long run on points in the 1st and 2nd quarter to beat Smithville at home 57-38 in a Boys MEC Contest. Chillicothe went on a 19-1 run in the 1st and 2nd quarter to go from trailing by 8 points to leading by 10, and the Hornets led the rest of the game.
      Smithville closed the game to three points in the third quarter but Chillicothe went on a small run to lead by 9 after three quarters.
      The Warriors were ice cold from behind the arc, missing all 16 of their three point attempts.
