Midland Empire Conference Meet - 7th
Chillicothe finished a very disappointing 7th place in the M.E.C. golf tournament in Platte County. "I hoped to see the boys finish in at least 3rd place, maybe 4th, but not down in the bottom ranks" stated Coach John Musser. "We had beaten Platte County, Benton, Savannah and Maryville in recent days. Oh Well, we just didn't score like we had been." Smithville won the title with a 308, Cameron a 311, Savannah a 328, Maryville a 332, Benton a 343, Platte County a 349, Chillicothe a 349 and Lafayette a 383. The 7th place finish snaps a three year string of conference championships for Chillicothe and marks the worst conference finish for the Hornets since 1985.
Logan Gilliland provided the one bright spot, shooting a 73 to finish 2nd. Ben Deitz shot an 85, Cody Graham a 94 and Drew Lowrey a 97.
