<Full Story>

August 10th, 2012 Final Touches

    New, state of the art sound system, combined with the Bose speakers will make the stadium one of the loudest high school stadiums in Missouri. The console has inputs for stadium mic, wireless mic, i-pod, cd, video board sound and additional inputs.
     The "C" on the north slope is an eagle scout project by Wagner Chapmen with help from Mr. Tim Marsh and Jake Mathew.

Bleachers Done, Track Surface Work,
Final Touches

The original Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium sign has been moved to the new field and installed. Track asphalt has been poured and is now curing for two weeks before the eight lane running surface can be installed. The bleachers are done!

(above) One of the final major projects is the concourse between the concession stand/rest room building and the press box/bleachers.

(right) In a separate project from the the new stadium, the high school parking lot is being re-done. It will include additional parking spaces, a reworked traffic pattern with paved road and 10" of chip and seal for the parking. The $500,000+ project was approved by the school board and is being funded by the school district.
