Two Awards and 12 Letters were handed out at the annual Chillicothe Girls Tennis Banquet. The Coaches Award was shared by Meredith and Madeline Brick, the only two Seniors on this year's team. A new award this year was the Most Improved Player award, shared by Jamie Westphal and Juleah Littrell, both which moved up eight places from last season.
     The tennis team finished 7-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play, good for 4th place. The team finished 5th in District play and missed Regional play by one point. Of the 16 girls out for tennis this season, seven were first time letter winners, six were new to tennis and only the top two players on this year's team were seniors.
