Chillicothe used good pitching and great
defense to edge Smithville 3-0. "We beat a very good team"
proclaimed Chillicothe coach Stan Baldwin. The Lady Hornets picked
up two runs in the fourth and in insurance run in the sixth, off
just two hits. On the mound, Lady Hornets Ace Sarah Baldwin allowed
two hits, two walks and ten strike outs. Chillicothe is now 12-4 on
the season.
