Chillicothe's first points in the game came with 1:11 left in
the first quarter and by that time, Lafayette had pumped in 21
straight points. After the first part of the first quarter,
the game was never in doubt as Lafayette used their two 6'5"
players inside, hot shooting from the outside and strong
defense to control the game from start to finish.
The Hornets shot the ball well, however they simply did
not get many shots off due to the Lafayette defense.
Chillicothe was just 6/13 from the floor in the first half and
finished the game going 11 of 25 from the floor and 5 of 10
from the line.
Lafayette led by 30 or more points most of the fourth
quarter, putting the game into a "running clock" for most of
the fourth quarter.
Chillicothe is now off until the NCMC Holiday Hoops
