Chillicothe overcame the absence of two players due to injury
to beat South Harrison 55-50 in the NCMC Holiday Hoops in
Trenton. Leading scorer Blake Stephens and key reserve Darien
Lame both were not dressed out due to undisclosed injuries.
Chillicothe traded buckets early in the game before
taking the lead midway through the first quarter. After that,
South Harrison only led briefly midway through the second
quarter, and tied the game early in the fourth before
Chillicothe went on an 8-1 run to lead for good.
South Harrison hit two treys with under a minute to go,
but Chillicothe hit 9 of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter
to keep them at bay.
