Kirksville
outscored Chillicothe 25-10 in the final quarter to open up a
close game and beat the Hornets 59-43 in Kirksville.
Chillicothe missed a shot at the end of the third quarter that
would of given them a one point lead. Instead, Kirksville
opened the fourth on a 9-2 run and the rest of the game was
never in doubt.
One of the bright spots for the Hornets was the inside
play of Junior Spencer Hart, who led the team with 14 points
and several rebounds. Chillicothe was forced to play with out
the services of starting guard Jacob McKiddy who did not make
the trip due to illness
