Joseph LeBlond shot an impressive 61% from the floor to beat
Chillicothe 60-30 in the Cameron Tournament. Despite having no
one taller than 6'2", LeBlond still used an inside game on
offense to go on an early 10-0 run in the first quarter.
LeBlond built a double digit lead midway through the second
quarter and expanded on that lead through the rest of the
game.
Chillicothe had a spark from the outside shooting of
Nic Voorhies who went 3 of 6 from the outside, and Zach
Douglas who hit two treys. However the Hornets had problems
with the 1-3-1 zone defense of LeBlond and ended up attempting
more three point shots than two point shots in the game.
Chillicothe will face Excelsior Springs in the 5th
place game on Friday at 5:30pm at Cameron
