Weather was the big winner at the Maryville Invitational, causing scoring problems and canceling one race. The Boys Varsity race was cancelled due to lightening in the area. "It was very frustrating for the boys" commented head coach Tim Riekena. Because of the early exit, no places were available for the coaches.
     "It was extremely hot and humid during the JV races which took a toll on all runners" explained Riekena.
      In the girls race, Chillicothe Senior Mary Kate Taylor finished 5th in a time of 23:16.
