Chillicothe’s doubles team of Juleah Littrell and Kelsey Jones finished 2nd in the Midland Empire Conference Doubles Tennis Tournament. Littrell and Jones had a first round bye, beat Botts/Miller of  Cameron  6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals, beat Lorenz/Sanders of  LeBlond 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals then lost the championship match to the Hazelrigg sisters of LeBlond 0-6, 0-6.
     Chillicothe’s other doubles entry Jordan Garner and Hope Peters won their first match against Henton/Cornelius of Savannah 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, lost in the quarterfinals to Peek/Ball of Benton 1-6, 1-6, beat Kline/Render of  Lafayette  in the consolation quarterfinals 8-6 then lost to Henton/Cornelius of Savannah 3-8.

     In singles action Laura Turner, the #3 seed, beat Marcy Withrow of Benton 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, lost to Meg Robertson of  LeBlond 4-6, 6-7 (9-11). She had to forfeit her consolation quarterfinal match due to injury.
     Libby Kline lost to Devon Tracy of Savannah in the first round 4-6, 3-6, had a second round bye then lost to Madeline Glenski of  LeBlond 3-8.
