Chillicothe's
Junior power hitter Annie Turbyfill cranked out a two run home run
in the 4th inning to help give Chillicothe a 2-1 win over previously
unbeaten Maryville. It was Turbyfill's second home run in as many
games.
Maryville answered with one run in the sixth but failed
get any closer. Chillicothe's Sarah Baldwin (Jr) allowed one earned
run off five hits with eleven strike outs in what Coach Stan Baldwin
called a "big win".
Chillicothe is now 11-1 on the season
