Annie Turbyfill
cranked out a two run home run in the top of the sixth to help
secure Chillicothe's 17th win of the season, 3-0 over Smithville.
"First inning hitting and great base running set the stage for this
game" stated Lady Hornets coach Stan Baldwin.
Junior All-State pitcher Sarah Baldwin had another
no-hit shut out win for Chillicothe, giving up just two walks with
ten strike outs in the 7-inning game. "A well rested pitcher made
the difference" stated Coach Baldwin.
