Chillicothe had
another great pitching performance from Junior Sarah Baldwin, but
couldn't generate any offense in a 1-0 state quarterfinal loss at
Boonville. The Lady Pirates scored the only run of the game with one
out in the bottom of the seventh. "Our offense did not show up"
lamented Coach Stan Baldwin, who's team has qualified for six
straight state playoffs but have yet to make the semi-finals.
Chillicothe ends the season at 25-5, a school record
for wins in a single season.
