The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team scored twice in the first half then hung on for the win, beating defending District champion St Joseph Lafayette 2-0 at Chillicothe. The Hornets scored on a Steven Cooper goal with the assist from Alan Kline, and from a Brice Griffin goal with an assist from Connor Ruoff (Ruff).
     Goal Keeper Troy Toedebush had 9 saves on goal, while the Hornets kept the Lafayette keeper busy with 26 shots on goal. "Hopefully we can build on this victory and continue to play better each game" said Coach Tim Cunningham.
Chillicothe is now 1-1 on the season.
