     Chillicothe won one and lost one to take 2nd place at Saturday's Mexico Soccer Tournament.
     In game one, Chillicothe beat Montgomery County 8-2. After giving up the first goal, Chillicothe responded with a Jon Kline goal, unassisted to take a 1-1 tie into halftime.
      The second half was the Connor Ruoff show as the Hornet Senior racked up four goals in the second half, socring off an assist by Grant Peterson then a second goal unassisted to lead 3-1.
      Senior Tyler Midgyett took an assist from Derek Hussey to the net to lead 4-1. Ruoff took over again with goals off an assist by Steven Cooper and off an assist by Ulises Rojas to lead 6-1.
      Montgomery County sneaked a goal in to close the game to 6-2, however the Hornets finished off the game with a Derek Hussey off an assist by Brandon Murray and a Cal Toedebush goal off an assist by Derek Hussey.
     Troy Toedebusch had 2 saves on goal.
     The second game was a defensive battle with the Hornets falling to Mexico 1-0. The only goal was a corner kick by Austin Miller of Mexico in the first half. Chillicothe's Troy Toedebush had four saves on goal.
     Chillicothe is now 8-5-1 on the season and 2-2 in MEC play.
