The Lady Hornets Tennis team downed
Higginsville 5-1 to advance to the District Tennis Tournament team
finals. Laura Turner won 6-2, 6-2; Sydnie Whiteside won 6-2, 6-1;
Juleah Littrell won 6-3, 6-0; Kelsey Jones lost 6-4, 2-6, 4-6; Ali
Stephens won 6-2, 6-3 and Maggie McCoy won 6-3, 7-5.
Chillicothe will now meet the only team to
beat them this season when they travel to Marshall for the district
championship.
