Chillicothe’s Sarah Baldwin turned three intentional walks into the
only two Lady Hornet runs to give her team a 2-1 win over St Joseph
Benton at Danner Park.
Chillicothe picked up just 6 hits in the game,
two from Kelsey Boley and one from Erin Gilliland, Maura Sturguess,
Annie Turbyfill and Brooke Doss.
Baldwin picked up the win, going the full 7
innings, allowing one un-earned run off four hits with one walk and
15 strike outs. Chillicothe is now 9-2 and will host the Lady Hornet
8-team softball tournament on Saturday.
