The Chillicothe Lady Hornets softball
team repeated as Midland Empire Conference champions with a 7-2 win
at Lafayette to improve to 15-2 overall and 7-0 in MEC play.
Chillicothe was down 2-1 in the top of the fourth when they picked
up four runs in the fourth and two in the fifth for the win.
At the place, Sarah Baldwin, Addie Stottlemyre, Kelsey
Boley, Carley Anderson and Brooke Doss all had two hits with Erin
Gilliland, Maura Sturguess, Annie Turbyfill and Sarah Hussey all
