The Baldwin Bash Brigade made an appearance
at Liberty North high school to lead the Lady Hornets to a 4-1
sectional softball win over Liberty North. Freshman Samantha Baldwin
hit her 9th home run of the season and Senior Sarah Baldwin hit her
fourth home run of the season to lead the Lady Hornets.
Sarah Baldwin pitched the full seven
innings for the win, allowing one un-earned run off four hits with
one walk and 13 strike outs. At the plate, Samantha Baldwin and
Sarah Baldwin each had two hits, Erin Gilliland, Addie Stottlemyre
and Annie Turbyfill all had one hit. Sarah Baldwin had 3 RBIs and
Samantha Baldwin had 1 RBI
Chillicothe score one in the third, one in the sixth
and two in the seventh. Liberty North scored in the bottom of the
seventh.
Chillicothe now heads to Pleasant Hill on
Saturday to take on the 19-7 Chicks, which beat Boonville 12-0.
