Chillicothe scored four in the 4th and two
in the 6th to beat
Pleasant Hill 6-0 in Pleasant Hill in a Class 3 quarterfinal game.
Chillicothe's Ace Sarah Baldwin held Pleasant Hill to just one hit.
The Chicks had totaled 34 runs in their last four games of the
playoffs.
The win earned Chillicothe the program's first ever softball
semi-final appearance. The Lady Hornets(23-3) will take on Sullivan
(23-4) on Oct. 21st at 2:00pm in Springfield.
