Smithville scored in the first two innings and  never let up, beating Chillicothe 7-0 in MEC Baseball. The Warriors scored twice in the first, once in the third and four runs in the fifth inning. Chillicothe's Troy Toedebusch had the start and took the loss, Ryan Smith pitched two innings and Bobby Peniston the final three innings. At the plate, Steven Cooper, DJ Gannan, Troy Toedebusch and Anthony Garcia all had one hit each.
