The Lady Hornets tennis team came up just short and finished 2nd in the  team Benton/Savannah tournament. Chillicothe beat Benton 4-1 and Savannah 3-2 before losing to Platte County 2-3. The Lady Pirates are coached by former Hornet tennis star Zach Keith. Savannah was 3rd followed by Maryville, Benton, Lafayette, Trenton and LeBlond.

     Sydnie Whiteside finished 1st in #1 singles, Chelsea Long was 2nd in #2 singles, Ali Stephens/Jozie Reeter was 1st in #1 doubles, Kelly Westphal/Therese Taylor did not finish in the top 3 in #2 doubles and Candace Callahan/Julia Minnis did not finish in the top 3 in #3 doubles.
