Coach Ed Douglas says: "The Hornets improved their dual match
record to 6-1 and their overall team completion record to 8-2
with a 7-2 victory over Kirksville, Wednesday night at
Kirksville. The girls played well. Several match were close
that made me a little nervous by Chelsea Long and Jozie Reeter
pulled out victories at #4 and #5 that gave us a 4-2 lead
going into the doubles and then we swept the double. Sydnie
and Ali continued their domination of opponents with easy
victories at #1 and #2. Kelly Westphal and Therese Taylor
played well winning number 3 doubles." |
