Lady Hornets Head
Coach Ed Douglas says: "Chelsea lost a tough match.
She was down 6-3 but can all the way back to get the match
into a tiebreaker but just fell a point or two short. It
was a very good effort. I thought the girls
played well especially after having played all day at
Excelsior Springs the day before getting home after 9 at
night. On the Junior Varsity side Rebecca Soasty, our
exchange student from Ecuador won a very close JV match 9-7
with partner Maelaina Vonfossen. The Hornets celebrated
Senior night and recognized seniors Therese Taylor, Candace
Callahan and Savannah Shriver. "This
seniors were all special girls who worked very hard and have
been a joy to coach. We will miss them a great deal. " |
