Lafayette started strong
then finished strong to edge Chillicothe 7-6. The Lady Irish
scored one in the first and three in the second to take a 4-0
lead. Chillicothe battled back to lead 6-5 heading into the
bottom of the seventh, but gave up two runs in the bottom of the
seventh.
Coach Stan Baldwin commented "Good defense, not bad at
the plate, too many walks and hit batters!" |
