The Lady Hornets softball team lost to
Hamilton for the 2nd time in 3 days, losing on the road 10-0 in 7
innings. Kelsey Boley suffered the loss allowing 10 runs, 6 earned,
off 13 hits with 3 walks and 1 strike out. At the plate, Lauren
Jones, Sam Baldwin and Brooke Nelson accounted for Chillicothe’s 3
hits. Coach Stan Baldwin stated Lauren Jones slid into 3rd base and
suffered an ankle sprain in the 1st inning. He stated the team
played five girls in positions they never played.
