Coach Tim
Riekena Says:
Very cool morning, mid 40's and 50's. The course was
wet, soft and slow but many Chillicothe kids got their PR
(Personal Record).
Skylar Mullin continues to drop her time. Jacob Parker,
Zach Girres, Noah Cross and Colin Carlton (all freshmen) ran
their best race of the season.
Another freshman, Gunnar Young, finished #4 for the varsity,
Junior, Tristan Carmack, ran the last half the race very strong.
Both Gunnar and Tristan were very instrumental in helping our
overall score.
Today we had three strong runners finish in the top 14
overall: Lane Worman, Robbie Parkey and Cody Saville. Layne ran
a very smart race and set a new PR. All three runners have
finished first for Chillicothe in a meet this year.
For our first Saturday race, I'm very pleased with the
results!
