| Lady Hornets Head
Coach Ed Douglas says: "The Lady Hornets improved to 2-0
overall and 2-0 in the MEC Conference with their second
straight 9-0 match. The JV won 4-0. Chelsea Long and Renee
Downing at #3 doubles were down 6-7 and then won 12 straight
points to win the match 9-7. “It is hard to give you much
intrigue with 9-0 wins. Actually, both Savannah and Cameron
were better than we thought and gave us some good matches
which we need prior to one circled on our calendar Thursday
against rival Marshall. These have been good matches that are
getting us ready for Marshall. Trenton tomorrow should also be
a good match to help get us ready. I would describe our
efforts the last two days as very workman like. Taking Care of
Business.” |
